Feathers

This is Feathers!! I created her yesterday I was practicing with my inking pens. I realllly like her! she has one sister, but other than that she was alone until! She found me! her sister is a little scared of me at first, but Feathers walks right up to me, and she lets me stroke her nuzzle.
Feathers is different than other pones. She can use Feather flight, witch is a very special gift, only given to those born in the Orlene Dalila. A sacred lake that was suddenly distinguished a little time before I meat them. Feathers and Palila have memories of their pleasant life before. They had a mother and father. Feather told me that something really awful happened to them right before their lake was evaporated. But they've never told me the whole story.

but any who! I'm still trying to figure out what her sister (palila) looks like. soooooo stay posted and you'll find out soon enough! ohh, and feathers has little feathers rising on her shoulders.

and if anyone has questions about feather flight, this is how it works!

first they do the ceremonial dance, where the great peacock comes. If she likes their dance, she will grant them permission to ride under her wings. The only really terrifying this is, you have to cling to her longs silky, slippery feathers and try not to fall off. (Note: the great peacock can fly so high, that she can touch the tip of mountain tops.) that would be really high to fall of from So they only use her as a last resort.
